Musings of my current life.

This week has been pretty interesting.

Everything in my personal life is going great! I could not ask for more. I have the best girlfriend ever, and I love her more each and every day. Sometimes I can not believe how lucky I am I found her.

On Monday, I found out that I got the job I applied for at Summit Racing. I will soon be at a new work place doing what I love. (Web Development)

They are a VB.net shop, kind of like Timken but with a twist in that they use ASP.net MVC. So on top of the new job I even get to buy a new book and start learning something new! I am very excited for this! Now all that is left before I go in on May 9th... is my drug test tomorrow. Which will of course come back clean. Ya know since I have never done drugs in all 25 (almost 26) years of my life.

On top of the wonderful news about my new job. This week was the release of Portal 2.

This game is absolutely amazing. Some people have complained that it is too short... or that the graphics are not as good as they should be. That is not what this game is about. It is about a fun, and addictive type of game play that has such an amazingly deep story to go with it.

I can not tell you how many times I was wowed by the huge rooms or the small details that made the experience so awesome.

I am going to probably play through it again this weekend. Then I hope to post a in depth analysis if I can get to it. Maybe even writing a paragraph after each level? Who knows.

In other good news... the Cleveland Indians are winning! A lot! It is so awesome and exciting to have a winning team close to home again. Now let's just hope they can keep on going. Because when sports teams do terrible I almost completely lost interest in watching.

Well, I am off. Just wanted to talk about all the good stuff happening this week... so that I can reminisce about this week some 20 years down the line. :)
